NOxBLUE is CoreFluids’ brand of diesel exhaust fluid for use with EPA 2010 compliant diesel engines. Certified by the American Petroleum Institute (API), NOxBLUE is compatible with all types of diesel engines utilizing SCR technology.

Key to the operation of the SCR system on a vehicle is the diesel exhaust fluid – a non-toxic mixture of deionized water and automotive grade urea. Injected into the exhaust stream in front of the catalytic converter in the muffler assembly, DEF hydrolyzes into ammonia and initiates the chemical process of converting the nitrogen oxide (NOx) gases to nitrogen (N) and water (H2O) – greatly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

“NOxBLUE’s recognition as a 2011 World Ag Expo Top Ten New Product reflects the fast-paced growth the product has experienced since its launch last year,” said Stig Uhlen, vice president of business development. “CoreFluids is committed to providing not only the highest quality NOxBLUE DEF solution, but also the associated dispensing and storage hardware. It’s the combination of quality products and smart, customized solutions that make CoreFluids one of the most rapidly expanding companies in the sector.”
